Carol Gregg

A sense of history and scenery is natural to me, owing to my early  upbringing in Northern England. My teens brought
fervour to my interest in art and I enrolled in several
sketch and water colour courses. Settling into the rolling hills of Mono
with my family and intrigued by the beauty of the
surrounding Hockley Valley and the calming healing effects
of the local woods, my artistic interests were
renewed. Several art courses and workshops, including
ones with Harold Klunder and Peter Kelisnik, have helped me
expand to include working with acrylics and oils, my now
chosen mediums. My work
is fluid and vibrant and with the use of pallet knife, brush
and fingers I hope to convey to the viewer the beautiful surroundings of our world
